Our Story: In 2011, we began a journey in Hebron, Palestine, that would grow into the Excellence Center, a place dedicated to learning, community development, and cultural connection. Back then, we were a small team united by a shared vision: to create valuable learning experiences and bridge cultures in the heart of the West Bank, Palestine.
What started with a handful of local Palestinians and international participants eager to learn Arabic and engage in community projects quickly turned into a vibrant hub. The Excellence Center/Engage in Palestine became a gathering point where people from all walks of life could come together, share ideas, and create meaningful impact on the Palestinian community.
Back In 2011
One evening, after a full day of Arabic classes and community discussions, an idea emerged: what if we could bring this experience to people beyond Palestine, regardless of where they lived? And so, back in 2011, we began offering online Arabic lessons through the Excellence Center and Engage in Palestine.
Our online classes started with a few dedicated students, and over time, they grew as more people returned home, wanting to stay connected and continue learning Arabic with us.
Reach People From All Corners Of The Globe
In 2023, we took this vision even further by officially launching “Study Arabic Online,” a platform dedicated entirely to online Arabic learning. This platform allowed us to reach people from all corners of the globe, bringing them closer to the language, culture, and spirit of the Arab world.
Initially, Study Arabic Online began with simple video calls via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Dialpad Meetings, TrueConf Online, FreeConference, Slack Huddles, and WhatsApp, offering tailored lessons for beginners and focusing on the basics.
But word quickly spread, and soon our virtual classrooms were filled with students from various backgrounds and goals—some wanting to connect with Arabic culture, others preparing for travel to the Middle East, and many simply eager to learn a new language in an engaging, personal way.
Our Lessons Build The Confidence To Speak Arabic Naturally
What sets our Arabic online program apart is our focus on real-life applications. We go beyond teaching vocabulary and grammar, emphasizing practical conversation skills that students can use immediately. Whether it’s learning to order a coffee in Arabic, making friends, or navigating everyday interactions, our Arabic lessons build the confidence to speak Arabic naturally.
Furthermore, our students also get a taste of the warmth and hospitality that are central to Arab culture, making each lesson not only a language class but a cultural exchange.

Our Arabic teachers bring this experience to life with their passion for teaching and their desire to share the heart of Palestine. They incorporate stories, humor, customs, and personal insights, making each class feel like a window into everyday life in Palestine and the broader Arab world. Along this journey, we’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people.
Many of our students have become friends, some have even visited our centers in Hebron, and all have become part of a community dedicated to learning and connection.
